Working Out At Home

There are many reasons people don’t go to the gym. If you’re like me it can be a bit daunting and intimidating, some people don’t have the time or simply they can’t afford it. You may say we need to make time and fit the gym into the budget but honestly some people just can’t or don’t know how to do that.

But I’m sure everyone can afford and has the time to workout at home. I have found many great videos on YouTube for beginners through to the elite. If you don’t have the internet (again, some people can’t afford Wi-Fi in the home), your local library might have exercise DVDs that you can borrow for free.

As I’ve decided to begin practising yoga, I’ve found the “Yoga With Adriene” videos very helpful. She has an “Ease Into It – 30 Days Of Yoga” series, which has been great.

Here is day 1 if you’d like to check it out.

I’m also following channels such as PopSugar Fitness, Tone It Up, Sweaty Betty & Body By Simone.

This is another video I have enjoyed. It’s a HIIT workout great for my fitness level.

So these are just a couple of examples of how I’ve been working out at home. I also use my exercise bike, play Just Dance on the Wii with the kids and I make sure I get at least 10,000 steps per day.

Weight Loss since Feb 20, 2017: 2kg (4.4 pounds)

Hope you’re having an amazing day!!
